Dr. Cindy Trice

Chief Veterinary Officer

Dr. Cindy Trice is a multi-state licensed relief veterinarian with over 20 years of experience in general, emergency, mobile, and shelter practice. A 2004 graduate of UC Davis, she founded Relief Rover (reliefrover.com), a community connecting relief vets and techs to jobs and resources. After Hound acquired Relief Rover in 2023, she served two years as its Chief Veterinary Officer. She remains active in veterinary medicine through VetPartners, the Veterinary Angel Network for Entrepreneurs (VANE), and the NAVC Board of Directors.

Her own experience as a cancer patient inspired her to found KickIt Recovery Wear (kickitrecoverywear.com), which designs sleepwear and apparel for women battling cancer. She splits her time between Bradenton, Florida and Atlanta with her husband and two long, low dogs.
